Our company has officially been in business 2 years! Thank you to all of those who have continued to support us over these last 2 years to help us help those who need neuro-rehabilitation and may we continue to grow and grow!
Let's have a look at all we have achieved as a business over these past 2 years!
Officially eXRt's journey begun in 2022, off the back of an EU study trial helping to recovery over 110 patients across the NHS in Northern Ireland and in Italy. Results from the study yield positive outcomes so we thought it was time to share it with the world. We spun out from Ulster University in 2022 and received large funding from Innovate UK to continue our business development.
In 2022 we released our new product called - Resynk - alongside working on acceptance onto a NHS procurement framework and developing our Medical Device Quality Management System ISO13485.
At the end of 2022, we began our pilot with HCA Healthcare in London, where the rehabilitation specialsts are actively using our product on Stroke and Spinal injury patients, and providing us with invaluable feedback in order to improve our product offering.
In the current year 2023, we have met several NHS Procurement Standards and have continued on our Customer Engagement journey by demoing at the Royal Free London and Gateshead Health in Newcastle.
It is now the end of 2023 and we have just began our pilot with the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. This has opened up an opportunity of growth and fingers crossed being embedded into standard rehabilitation routines in the NHS to meet the very recent National Stroke Guidelines for UK & Ireland.
